International day of peace
21st September 2018
Friday represented an opportunity to organise into our teams and spend some time thinking, singing and sharing ideas about peace.
This is the first time that we have celebrated this day and I believe that any day would be appropriate to consider what peace means to each of us.
For our children, the chance to mix with those from other year groups is an essential part of being a Chillizen so these moments are important to our evolution as a learning community.
Thanks to all the staff for leading something a little different and surrendering some of the valuable curriculum time in place of pastoral opportunities. In addition, thanks to Mr Browne for leading on the music and singing this week.
